“I grew up in a generation that was like, ‘Why not do everything?’” – Justin Timberlake
I graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 2007 with a BA in journalism and three years of copy-editing experience, including a stint as editor in chief of the Advance-Titan and an internship at the Herald Times Reporter of Manitowoc, WI. I worked as a copy editor and Web producer for the NOW newspapers in suburban Milwaukee before relocating to Wichita, where I wrote for the Wichita Eagle, Women’s Focus and Naked City and been a writer and editor for verb [ICT], Douglas and Main, LIVESTRONG.com and typeF.com.
I currently live in Cincinnati, where I’m a marketing and social media coordinator for a global outsourcing company and write here and there for local publications in my spare time. My interests include yoga, vegetarian cooking, running, antiquing, and proofreading my boyfriend’s short stories. I still love print magazines. I’ve been a Girl Scout Leader, event planner, column writer, amateur pundit and substitute teacher. Why not do everything?
