“I grew up in a generation that was like, ‘Why not do everything?’” — Justin Timberlake
I’m a writer and editor in Wichita, KS, originally from Wausau, WI. I graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 2007 with a BA in journalism and three years of copy-editing experience, including a stint as editor in chief of the Advance-Titan and an internship at the Herald Times Reporter of Manitowoc, WI. I worked as a copy editor and Web producer for the NOW newspapers in suburban Milwaukee before relocating to Wichita, where I’ve written for the Wichita Eagle, Women’s Focus and Naked City and been a writer and editor for verb [ICT], Douglas and Main, LIVESTRONG.com and typeF.com.
My interests include yoga, vegetarian food, fashion and animals. I don’t subscribe to print newspapers anymore, but I still like magazines. I have an e-reader, but not a smartphone. I’m a Girl Scout leader. I’ve dabbled in event planning, column writing, punditry and substitute teaching. Why not do everything?
